Creatures of Oizumi Ryokuchi [White-spotted Flower Beetle]

This is a type of scarab beetle that is commonly seen in the park, but each individual has a different body color. This one was walking along the garden path in the morning, so I found and photographed it on my way to work. It has a beautiful color that is a mix of green and purple. There are also some with a stronger green color and some with a more metallic bronze color. #Oizumi Green Space #White-spotted flower beetle #Nature Observation #Insect observation #Parent-child outings #Outdoor play #Outdoor Oizumi Ryokuchi Official Instagram

Cleaning the medaka pond.

The bottom of the pond is covered with mud, and the water is about 35cm deep at its deepest point. Many insects such as dragonflies also visit the area. #Oizumi Green Space #Medaka #Walk #Nature Observation #Biotope #Parent-child outings #Outdoor play #Outdoor Oizumi Ryokuchi Official Instagram

Today’s Iris Garden.

We are currently working on removing algae. The irises are no longer in bloom, but the scenery of the rice fields with a gentle breeze blowing is beautiful and pleasant. The second photo shows today's mallard ducks and their ducklings. A kingfisher was also flying by. #Oizumi Green Space #Iris #Mallard #Kita Ward Photo Diary #Adventure #Walk #Nature Observation Oizumi Ryokuchi Official Instagram
