Karoto Pond is a place where various aquatic plants and aquatic organisms inhabit, though small compared to other ponds in Oizumi Ryokuchi.
Karotoike has the Oizumi Ryokuchi Volunteer, Karotoike Natural Club cooperate and manages daily, and on December 22nd (Sun), we carried out the annual pond drying!
This year, we recruited people who could cooperate in the capture work, and we all caught creatures!
It was a valuable experience to be able to observe the state of the pond bottom, which you can not usually see, and the creatures that inhabit the Karotoike pond.
We dried the pond and caught the creatures, so we will sort the creatures by type from now on!
