Let's look up at the sky of Tanabata
On the night of Tanabata on July 7 (Sun), we held a training session "Let's look up at the sky in Tanabata"!
It was a difficult decision whether cloud could be held in the sky during the day of the class on the day of the class, but it was held after notifying in advance that participants might not be able to see the stars and the moon.
At 19:30, 31 families in 10 families participated, and there were a lot of clouds, but with a reflecting telescope and a refracting telescope, we observed when the moon and stars were coming out of the clouds.
We also used Vega constellation charts and apps to discover Vega (Summer Large Triangle), Arcturus (1st star) and Jupiter and observed them with a telescope. Especially around Jupiter, I could see four satellites such as Io with a telescope! Unfortunately at 20:20 the clouds spread almost all over and became free dissolution, but we can see the moon and craters we can not usually see ☆
