This is a type of scarab beetle that is commonly seen in the park, but each individual has a different body color.
This one was walking along the garden path in the morning, so I found and photographed it on my way to work. It has a beautiful color that is a mix of green and purple. There are also some with a stronger green color and some with a more metallic bronze color.
