Satozakura is a deciduous tree belonging to the Rosaceae family.

Cherry blossoms have been cultivated since the Heian period, mutated by artificial crossing and seedlings, or selected and bred from wild ones, resulting in more than 200 species of garden primrose. These are collectively called "Satozakura", and most of them are Oshimazakura varieties.

In Oizumi Ryokuchi, it can be seen in the first parking lot, the northeast slope of Mt. Futago, and along the northeast garden path of Oizumi Pond.

As of March 27, early white flowers have begun to bloom along the Futagoyama northeast garden path. It's going to bloom pink a little later.
